What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Learning Program: 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Site Coordinator position at VARIOUS LOCATIONS?
Primary Function: Provides site-based leadership to ensure effective implementation of the 21st Century Community Learning Center program in alignment with the approved FY27 grant. The Site Coordinator is responsible for supervision of staff, monitoring of instruction, student safety, attendance and payroll verification, family engagement, and grant compliance. Position is contingent upon 21st CCLC funding.

Reports To: 21st Century Site Coordinator
Employment Status: Part-Time or Temporary, Grant-Funded
Work Schedule: After-School, Saturday, and/or Summer
Location: Assigned SCCPSS 21st CCLC School Site(s)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Georgia teaching certificate
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in an educational setting
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work after-school, on Saturdays and/or summer hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Georgia Leadership Certification (preferred)
- Experience managing after-school, summer, or federally funded programs
- Knowledge of federal grant compliance and documentation requirements
- Experience working with at-risk student populations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of standards-based instruction and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to monitor instruction and provide staff feedback
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage payroll and compliance documentation
- Ability to lead staff and maintain a safe learning environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as the on-site leader for the 21st CCLC program.
- Oversee daily operations of the after-school and/or summer program.
- Ensure program implementation aligns with the approved grant plan.
- Coordinate schedules, student rosters, and daily program activities.
- Supervise 21st CCLC teachers and advocates
- Monitor employee time and attendance
- Verify and submit payroll documentation in accordance with district and grant guidelines.
- Provide ongoing support, feedback, and monitoring of staff performance.
- Monitor academic instruction and enrichment activities through regular observations.
- Ensure instruction is aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence and grant goals.
- Support positive student behavior and enforce SCCPSS discipline expectations.
- Ensure student supervision and safety protocols are consistently implemented.
- Ensure accurate daily student attendance, participation records, and documentation.
- Maintain site-level documentation required for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- Support program data collection for GaDOE and federal reporting.
- Coordinate and support family engagement activities as outlined in the grant.
- Ensure communication with parents/guardians regarding program expectations.
- Support family nights, showcases, and academic support events.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and SCCPSS grant assurances.
- Monitor implementation of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with school administrators, 21st CCLC district coordinator, and community partners.
- Participate in required professional development and grant training.
- Perform other duties as necessary to ensure program effectiveness.

- Work hours may include afternoons, Saturdays, and/or summer sessions
- Employee must comply with all federal, state, and district grant requirements, including attendance, documentation, and participation expectations
