Responsibilities
The Technical Specialist- Driveline Systems is responsible for leading the development of advanced driveline technologies and supporting long-term product and market direction:
- Act as the subject matter expert for driveline and torque transmission systems
- Analyze and document system-level requirements for production programs
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap for future driveline technologies
- Translate customer, regulatory, and market trends into system requirements
- Drive simulation, validation planning, and vehicle-level product development
- Engage in technical discussions with customers and present driveline solutions
- Contribute to and protect intellectual property through patents and technical publications
- Up to 25% travel as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (MSEE or MSME preferred)
- 15 years of experience in driveline systems development
- Strong background in intellectual property development (patents/publications)
- Deep experience interfacing with OEM customers and suppliers in the driveline sector
