Position OverviewJoin Kare Mobile, a leading mobile dental service provider, as a Dental Assistant and start your career in the mobile dental industry. As a Dental Assistant at Kare Mobile, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental care to patients in various locations. This full-time, part-time, or PRN position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about dentistry and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for seamless operation.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the mobile dental office.
- Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives, promoting oral health education and awareness.
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- X-ray certification required.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations within Western Kentucky, Georgia, and potentially other areas.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
