The HR Generalist is responsible for overall support of the organization to provide Human Resources services to the Company. This position will play a critical role in talent acquisition, on-boarding, benefits and HRIS. The HR Generalist will be the first point of contact for employees to ask questions about policies, procedures, and HR related topics. The role will interact with all levels of the Company and work to instill a positive culture across the organization (approximately 170 employees).
This position is based on-site at our current office in Moonachie, NJ. In late 2025, we will be relocating to a new office space in Lyndhurst, NJ. This person will support and report to the Director of HR who is based in the Kansas City office. They will be the sole HR personnel in the NJ office, so we are looking for a self-starter who understands what needs to be done with little direction.

- This is not a remote opportunity. This position is based on-site at our New Jersey office. Local candidates only. We do not offer relocation assistance.
- Coordinate talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Update and maintain HRIS system with new hires & terminations
- Administer benefit plans (add, remove and reconcile members) and work on open enrollment
- Conduct employee onboarding and new hire experience
- Create and coordinate the company newsletter
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Organize annual employee performance reviews
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Any other tasks assigned by management
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
- 3 years’ experience in Human Resources
- 3 years’ experience analyzing data, performing calculations, and producing reports
- Experience in a fast-paced business environment with an ability to adapt quickly to change
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; Word and Excel most used
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g. UKG) will be a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Superior attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
- Additional HR training will be a plus
