Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in human capital management and be well-versed in employment and labor laws. This role is crucial in supporting our workforce management strategies and ensuring compliance with various HR regulations. The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee relations, and the overall development of our HR initiatives.
Duties
- Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture.
- Administer benefits programs and provide guidance on FMLA, workers' compensation, and other employee-related issues.
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management processes to foster professional growth.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Implement change management strategies to support organizational growth and adaptation.
- Maintain accurate HRIS data entry and manage workforce analytics for strategic planning purposes.
- Support affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant labor laws.
- Utilize various HR tools such as Paychex, Dayforce, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Paylocity for efficient HR operations.
- Foster positive employee relations through effective conflict management and communication skills.
- Collaborate with management on organization design projects to optimize workforce effectiveness.
- General Office Skills. Purchase and Update Office and Kitchen suppies for team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in human resources roles with a focus on talent management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law as well as HR best practices.
- Proficiency in project management with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; adept at social media management for recruitment purposes.
- Familiarity with ATS systems such as iCIMS or Taleo is advantageous.
- Administrative experience with data collection and entry is essential for maintaining accurate records.
