Overview

Vantaca is looking for a Senior Data Engineer that wants to work in a high impact, fast paced team that is ready to drive meaningful change. This individual will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, developing scalable data products, and ensuring data quality and reliability. Your work will drive better decision-making for products and customers. You will collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver data solutions that meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Implement data governance, quality, and security best practices across data systems
• Optimize data models and queries for performance and cost efficiency
• Develop and maintain data infrastructure using modern cloud technologies and tools
• Build reusable frameworks and tools to accelerate data engineering workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data quality and pipeline issues
• Drive initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Work with stakeholders to execute data engineering roadmaps and deliver high-impact solutions
  
  

Qualifications

• Educational background in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related analytical or engineering field
• 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles with a thorough understanding of data engineering best practices, pipeline development, and ETL frameworks
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud tools such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in designing and optimizing data warehouses
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and influencing technical best practices
