Factory Welder

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Factory Welder located in Lapeer, MI. The position requires performing various welding tasks using different techniques to fabricate and repair metal structures and components. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, operating welding equipment, inspecting work for quality, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. While the role is primarily on-site, some work-from-home tasks may be accommodated as required.

• Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Experience with operating and maintaining welding tools, machinery, and measuring instruments
• Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality output
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; welding certification or technical training preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage
