MKR Fabrication, a subsidiary of Palladyne AI (NASDAQ: PYDN), is a heavy fabrication and weld shop with support and assembly capabilities that specializes in manufacturing heavy duty, complex components. Daily Responsibilities
- Read technical drawings to prepare for and plan welds
- Weld components made from a variety of metals
- Inspect weld results and conduct post weld cleanup
- Operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Document welds for projects as necessary
- Maintain safe work environment by following safety processes and procedures
- Inspect and ensure equipment functionality and safety before use
- Record production in ERP – JobBOSS2
- 3 years of welding experience
- Pass AWS tests performed by employer
- Must be able to effectively read blueprints/drawings
- Jobboss2 enterprise resource planning system experience is a plus
- MIG and TIG preferred
- Sub Arc preferred
- Aluminum and specialty metals experience preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
