FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a technically minded, highly motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of high-performance LED displays. As a customer-facing representative of our company, the ideal candidate will maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in various environments, including educational facilities and military installations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical Services: Install, troubleshoot, and repair LED display systems to ensure 100% uptime and performance.
- On-Call Support: Provide 24/7 remote or on-site support as needed to address urgent customer needs.
- Warehouse Operations: Build and "burn in" LED cabinets in the warehouse during non-travel periods.
- Travel & Logistics: Independently book travel arrangements and maintain/submit accurate expense reports.
- Technical Growth: Stay current with new equipment releases and emerging LED technologies.
- Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to complete large-scale installations under tight deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS
- Background: Clean criminal history and a clean driving record (required for access to military bases and schools).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensure: Valid Driver’s License.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25 lbs repetitively and work overhead from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
- Technical Skillset: Working knowledge of electrical and construction basics; proficiency with PC navigation and troubleshooting.
- Professionalism: Neat, professional appearance for client-facing interactions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of LED control systems (e.g., Novastar, Colorlight, Brompton).
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Valid Passport for potential international assignments.
