VanDevere KIA is looking to add a qualified Automotive Parts Counter Associate to our team. Automotive Parts Experience a plus, but not required.

CDK experience is a plus!

Duties

• Identifying correct parts in catalog system
• Charging and costing parts out
• Basic inventory control functions
• Coding special order parts
• Recording lost sales and emergency purchases
• Taking care of customer's over the phone and at parts counter.
• Automotive Parts Qualifications and Skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within an automotive dealership or parts environment
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with inventory management software (such as CDK), Microsoft Excel, and POS systems is preferred
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with automotive parts procedures, dealership operations, or retail parts
• Ability to negotiate effectively with customers and vendors while maintaining a positive attitude
• Prior experience with automotive repair or maintenance is beneficial but not mandatory
