Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for a diverse portfolio of exempt and non-exempt positions, ensuring an efficient and engaging candidate experience.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand departmental needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and provide consultative support throughout the hiring process.
- Design and execute strategic and tactical sourcing plans using online platforms, networking, and creative outreach methods.
- Utilize an applicant tracking system to manage requisitions, candidates, and workflow activities while maintaining data accuracy and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization, offering insights and guidance to support talent needs.
- Leverage HRIS, reporting tools, and market data to inform decision-making and support workforce planning initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by refining recruiting processes, tools, and best practices.
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-volume, fast-moving environment while upholding service excellence.
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three years of high-volume recruiting experience across exempt and non-exempt roles.
- At least one year of recruiting experience in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience using an applicant tracking system required; familiarity with Workday is a plus but training will be provided.
- Experience with online and Internet sourcing tools required.
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms such as SAP or Lawson is a plus.
- Previous experience supporting a unionized workforce is helpful.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and provide high-quality service.
- Proven ability to work strategically and creatively to solve problems and meet hiring challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
