Senior Cost Accountant Responsibilities
- Lead month-end inventory close, reconciliations, and reserve analysis for manufacturing operations
- Analyze inventory, labor, procurement, and scrap costs to support margin and profitability goals
- Partner with operations on forecasting, variance explanations, and cost traveler development
- Serve as the primary financial resource for inventory-related reporting and analysis
- Drive continuous process improvements and support audits, physical inventories, and cycle counts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of cost accounting and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting multi-site operations within a mid-to-large sized organization
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems
- Demonstrated stability in work history with sustained tenure at prior employers
