Materials Supply Planner Responsibilities
- Analyze material demand and supply signals to proactively manage exceptions and mitigate excess or risk.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely material availability and alignment on priorities and deadlines.
- Translate data insights into clear recommendations that support responsive and flexible supply strategies.
- Support the development and execution of process improvements across materials planning and inventory workflows.
- Represent materials planning as a subject matter resource, driving clarity, accountability, and informed decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, manufacturing, logistics, or related functions.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with reporting, data cleansing, data mining, and emerging analytical tools.
- Working knowledge of MRP concepts, demand and capacity planning, and manufacturing or supply chain metrics.
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders, present insights, and align teams on timelines.
