The Temporary Chef supports Vanderbilt University’s Catering and Events team by providing skilled culinary support for short-term assignments and specialty events. Working in partnership with Catering and Events culinary leadership, the Temporary Chef assists with menu preparation and execution, food production, presentation, and event service while maintaining Vanderbilt’s standards for quality, consistency, food safety, and guest experience. Assignments may vary in length, schedule, and scope based on business needs and may require evening, weekend, or holiday availability.
