Experienced Line & Prep Cook – Buck & Board
Buck & Board is looking for a dependable, experienced cook to join our small, hardworking kitchen team. This is a hands-on position for someone comfortable handling every part of kitchen service—from preparation and line cooking to cleanup.
Experience with charcuterie is a major plus, and catering experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and menu items according to our recipes and standards
- Work efficiently on the line during service
- Assist with charcuterie boards and presentations
- Support catering preparation and execution
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
- Wash your own dishes, cookware, and equipment
- Help with opening, closing, stocking, and general kitchen duties
- Communicate clearly and work well with a small team
Qualifications
- Previous professional line cook or prep cook experience
- Strong knife skills and food-preparation knowledge
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed
- Charcuterie experience is a major plus
- Catering experience is a big plus
- Knowledge of proper food-handling and sanitation practices

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 32.0 per week
