Position Summary
The Athletic Trainer, PRN within the Athletics Department is responsible for assisting with athletics camps and other duties within the department as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Completes assessments using the appropriate testing methods and equipment for the patient/athlete, diagnosis and reason for referral as needed
- Provides education/consultation to patient/athlete, family, team and community
- Formulates functional treatment plan to address deficits and patient/athlete and family areas of concern
- Formulates functional treatment plan and provides rehabilitation interventions for identified objectives/goals for return to play
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and 12 months of directly related experience is necessary
- Licensed Athletic Trainer, National Athletic Trainers Association Certification
- Athletic Training: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate athletic training in practical applications of moderate difficulty
- Sports Medicine: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate sports medicine in practical applications of moderate difficulty
