Overview
Join our team as a General Mine & Mill Laborer and be a vital part of our operations. This is an entry level position with many opportunities for advancement within the Union structure. You will engage in a variety of hands-on tasks, operation of heavy equipment, assisting Maintenance personnel with repairs, operating processing equipment and maintaining safety standards. If you enjoy working in an environment with many different types of work this position maybe ideal for you.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, front end loaders, forklifts and processing equipment to support mining and milling operations.
- Assist with packaging and shipping activities.
- General housekeeping and cleaning duties on the Mill floor.
- Assist Maintenance Department as needed.
- Follow MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) standards diligently to maintain a safe work environment
- Receive training to allow the replacement of Operators during periods of vacation and/or illness.
- Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, forklifts, or is a strong asset. Work in and industrial setting also a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols. This role offers an exciting chance to develop your career with a variety of skillsets and experiences.
Pay: $26.15 - $32.68 per hour
