Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools, including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Assist with masonry work, and plastering tasks as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction site operations.
- Prepare surfaces through caulking, sanding, painting, or other finishing techniques; install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and hardware.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with scaffolding, metal studs, roofing materials, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, or other specialized systems.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related fields such as manufacturing or remodeling is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, saws, drills), power tools (nail guns, grinders), and basic construction equipment is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics; experience with construction estimating is a plus.
- Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (frame and trim), masonry, roofing, plumbing or electrical work is advantageous.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
