What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Representative - ASC position at Vancouver Eye Care, PS?
A high-volume Vancouver ophthalmology practice with multiple locations is searching for a full time Patient Services Representative for our Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer and communication skills, and be able to work independently.
The primary focus of this PSR is to greet, check-in and check-out patients and visitors. Is responsible for verifying registration information and updating patient information. Serves as a liaison between patients and physicians both by telephone and in person. Handles aspects of appointment scheduling and rescheduling, cashiering, preparing charts, and patient check-in and check-out in a courteous and efficient manner. Must be able to work 10 hour shifts as assigned, 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Experience with medical and vision insurances and EMR background preferred. Experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center preferred.
