Job Summary

Our dental office is a patient-centered dental practice committed to providing high-quality dental care in a comfortable, friendly environment. We are currently seeking a highly organized, dependable, and experienced Administrative Assistant with good knowledge of dental billing and insurance processes to join our front office team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing emails.
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
  • Submit insurance claims (electronic and paper) and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding claims.
  • Post insurance payments and reconcile Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies to resolve claim issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present treatment plans and financial options to patients.
  • Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays, deductibles, and payment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Support daily administrative operations to ensure smooth office workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a dental office setting with a strong background in insurance and billing.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft)
  • Strong understanding of dental insurance policies, coding (CDT codes), and billing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
