Job Title: General Contractor Laborer
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Contractor Laborer to assist with a multi-faceted remodeling project on a ground floor condo located in Treasure Island, FL. The role involves supporting the completion of ongoing renovation work, particularly in bathroom and kitchen areas, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of working under the supervision of a licensed contractor to bring the project to successful completion.
Duties
- Assist in remodeling tasks including finishing work that the current contractor has not completed.
- Support bathroom renovations by installing new vanities, shower surrounds, toilets, faucets, and hardware.
- Aid in kitchen upgrades such as installing countertops, sinks, garbage disposals, appliances, hot water tanks, and associated hardware.
- Address any electrical work that needs to be completed or corrected during the renovation process.
- Follow detailed instructions and plans to ensure all work aligns with project requirements.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Use appropriate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate progress and any issues promptly to the supervising contractor.
Skills
- Proven experience in remodeling or construction work, especially in bathroom and kitchen projects.
- Ability to interpret instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to remodeling projects is preferred.
