What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equity Placement Specialist - Real Estate Capital Markets position at Vanadium Group?
Vanadium Realty LLC, a fast-growing boutique real estate investment banking firm focused primarily on large equity formation is looking for equity placement specialists in the firm’s New York office. Candidates should be self-starters and have the ability to work independently. Responsibilities will include sourcing and structuring equity investment terms, negotiating and closing equity joint ventures, arranging and structuring economic incentives, etc.
Candidates should be highly motivated, detail-oriented and eager to gain experience in the field of real estate capital markets, investment banking and development advisory. Minimum 3 years experience in real estate equity placement required. Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling is required. Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, Accounting, Economics or other quantitative subject preferred.
Candidates will assist team members on existing pipeline, including some of the largest and most exciting real estate investment opportunities in this United States. Candidates will have immediate access to the senior most members of the firm and firm clients.
Role is to support the firms existing business, Candidates are NOT responsible for generating new business, however will be responsible for actively managing capital relationships alongside senior team members.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior members of the firm to source and arrange equity investments and form partnerships for exclusive capital raise assignments.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with single family offices, HNW investors and institutional investors.
- Participate in writing financial reports and offering memoranda
- Coordinate and prepare client communications
Qualifications
- 3 years real estate equity placement experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
