Work is performed in a manufacturing and machining environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, vibration, heat, and cold. This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift, along with consistent use of PPE as required.

This position is responsible for machining, fitting, and fabricating parts from blueprints and specifications, operating manual and CNC machinery, and ensuring precise, accurate work that meets our rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of machining and fitting duties within established procedures and safety standards.
- Fabricate new and replacement parts for mechanical equipment using mills, lathes, drill presses, and other machine tools.
- Set up machines, adjust tooling, and support production machining operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, sketches, and written specifications.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Machine parts to specifications using lathes, vertical mills, and other tools.
- Inspect completed parts for accuracy and defects using precision inspection tools.
- Maintain machine tools and equipment in proper operating condition.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor machine malfunctions.
- Use creativity and problem-solving skills to design or fabricate fixtures, jigs, and components.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- 2–5 years of machining experience required; CNC or manual machining in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical Machining degree or trade school certificate preferred.
- Proficiency operating vertical mills, lathes, drill presses, precision measuring tools, fixtures, jigs, and forming devices.
- Ability to read and understand detailed part drawings and engineering documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Solid decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to identify and use proper PPE (cut-resistant gloves, hearing protection, eye protection, aprons, etc.).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
