Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bankruptcy Attorney role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Bankruptcy Attorney will be responsible for managing cases involving bankruptcy law, advocating for both debtors and creditors, preparing and filing motions, and handling Chapter 7, 13, and 11. The candidate will also be expected to provide exceptional client service, ensuring clear communication and efficient management of legal proceedings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bankruptcy Law, including in-depth knowledge of court procedures and relevant legal statutes
- Experience working with Debtors and Creditors in financial legal matters
- Hands-on expertise in handling Chapter 7 cases and Creditors' Rights issues
- Ability to draft, review, and file professional legal documents, including Motions
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and client advocacy skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active license to practice law in the state of Florida
- Practical experience in bankruptcy and related areas preferred
