What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at Van Holten’s, Inc.?
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work the production lines
- Responsible for following procedures according to our food safety systems and conformance to safety, GMP’s, sanitation rules and regulations
- Report any problems or concerns regarding employee safety, food safety, and production efficiency
- Notify the maintenance department if you need assistance with any equipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Notify the supervisor of any departmental problems
- Any other job duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Stand and Walk: Continuously (up to 10+ hours)
- Lift and Carry: Frequently (18-20lbs.)
- Able to lift up to 55 lbs.: Frequently
- Firm and Fine Grasping: Frequently
- Bend and Stoop: Frequently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Comfortable communicating and operating within a diverse workforce.
