Yard Hand (Ready Mix Plant) TRAVELLING

This is a TRAVELLING position working at locations in other states.

Who We Are:

Van Eaton Ready Mix is a local, family-owned and operated business, originating in 1998 when Mike Van Eaton purchased the first portable ready-mix plant to produce hog slats for his swine equipment business. Due to high demand, the company has expanded to multiple locations and now offers a wide range of durable concrete products for various applications. We currently operate several portable batch plants that can be set up anywhere in the U.S. to accommodate different projects, from driveways to Wind Turbine foundations across the nation.

Essential Functions:

To assist the Plant Manager with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing other miscellaneous plant related functions.

· Ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment, depending on the job site, accurately, efficiently, and safely.

· Must be able to ramp all stockpiles and load customers safely and in a timely fashion.

· Must be able to assist in the event of a breakdown.

· Clean up around plant and surrounding area.

· Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment.

· Ability to follow directions.

· Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

· This is a Van Eaton Ready Mix “Safety Sensitive” position.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. One to two years of related experience and/or a combination of both.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
