Apartment Complex Maintenance Technician
Spring Valley, MN Area
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing general apartment complex issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and tenants in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct Move-In and Move-Out Unit Inspections
-Turn units promptly upon tenant move-out, including cleaning, painting, and necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment found in apartment complexes.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and attention to detail skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset when interacting with staff and tenants.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical repairs is preferred.
-Familiarity with plumbing and ability to perform basic plumbing repairs is preferred.
