Duties

• Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing.
• Prepare and serve food items, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
• Manage customer orders from start to finish, including processing cash transactions, handling cash register operations, and balancing cash at shift end.
• Upsell menu items by recommending specials or add-ons to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing tables, counters, and kitchen areas; bus tables promptly; ensure proper sanitation practices are followed throughout the shift.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
• Food handling and safety management knowledge is essential for maintaining health standards.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while managing retail sales transactions and food service operations.
• Strong math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks.
• Experience working in a restaurant, café, or grocery store setting will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude to deliver top-tier customer service in diverse settings.
