Petition Circulator (Paid Position)
Pay: $1,500–$2,000 per week (full-time, performance-based)
Location: California (statewide assignments)
About the Role
We’re looking for driven, outgoing, and reliable individuals to join our statewide team of Petition Circulators. You’ll be on the front lines of democracy — engaging with California voters, explaining key ballot initiatives, and collecting valid signatures to help important issues make it to the ballot.
This role is fast-paced and people-focused, perfect for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, meeting new people, and making an impact while earning excellent weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and educate California registered voters about active ballot initiatives.
- Persuasively and respectfully encourage voters to sign petitions.
- Collect and record signatures accurately and legibly in compliance with state election laws.
- Achieve or exceed daily performance goals (minimum 50 valid signatures per day).
- Keep all petition materials organized, secure, and neat.
- Maintain consistent communication with project managers to report progress.
- Demonstrate professionalism, honesty, and integrity at all times — absolutely no fraud or petition sharing.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for long periods.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and accountability.
- Basic technology skills for tracking progress.
- Experience in sales, canvassing, customer service, or grassroots organizing is a plus.
- Must be able to commit to the project’s full duration and goals.
