About the Role
We are seeking motivated, outgoing, and dependable individuals to join our team as Petition Circulators. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of civic engagement — educating voters about ballot initiatives or candidate access efforts and collecting valid petition signatures to help important issues and campaigns qualify for the ballot.
This is a fast-paced, people-centered position ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, engaging the public, and earning strong weekly pay based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage registered voters in public spaces and explain active petition efforts clearly and accurately.
- Persuasively and respectfully encourage eligible voters to sign petitions.
- Collect signatures accurately and legibly in full compliance with state and local election laws.
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly performance goals.
- Keep all petition materials organized, secure, and properly handled.
- Maintain consistent communication with field managers or project leads regarding progress and needs.
- Represent the organization with professionalism, honesty, and integrity at all times.
- Strictly follow compliance rules — no fraud, misrepresentation, or petition sharing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Valid government-issued ID (driver’s license or state ID).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable.
- Basic technology skills for reporting progress and tracking performance.
- Experience in canvassing, sales, customer service, grassroots organizing, or political work is a plus.
- Ability to commit to project timelines and performance expectations.
