Description
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for handling customer inquiries, acquiring pricing and issuing quotes, as well as handling and managing all orders assigned to them. They work with the Shop Manager and Field Service Manager for production considerations and maintain communications with the customers about their order.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quoting new products and/or services to customers
- Maintaining communications for order delivery with the vendor, shop, and the customer.
- Build rapport with customers and maintain relationships.
- Manage delivery dates in all systems
- Ordering Non-Inventory Products for sales and/or for specific jobs
- Maintaining Product and Services information
- Understanding Customers needs and identify Sales opportunities to pass along to Outside Sales
- Attend all production meetings and provide updates for orders assigned
- Responsible for starting and closing jobs in the ERP System
- May be responsible, or will assist with final pricing on service jobs to be invoiced
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent Communication Skills (Both verbal and written)
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- ERP system familiarity (Sage or MAS ERP is a plus)
- Familiar with issue tracking and working with a CRM software is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Bending, stooping, walking and ability to stand for 50% of shift.
