Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead with strong expertise in configuration, integration development, Standards-Based Templates (SBT), and Commercial Lines. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end solution design, provide technical leadership, and ensure high-quality implementation across Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical design, solution architecture, and development activities for Guidewire implementations.
Oversee configuration development using Gosu, PCF, data model extensions, business rules, and workflows.
Design, implement, and review integrations using Guidewire Messaging, SOAP/REST APIs, Gx models, and plugins.
Implement and customize SBT (Standards-Based Templates) for commercial lines products.
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and provide technical mentorship to the development team.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure requirements are translated into high-quality technical solutions.
Drive sprint planning, estimation, and Agile delivery activities.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to configuration, integration, performance, and environment setup.
Ensure adherence to Guidewire development standards, coding guidelines, and integration patterns.
Work closely with onsite/offshore teams and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience:
8–12 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Guidewire (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter).
Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire configuration (Gosu, PCF, data model, rules, workflows).
Solid experience designing and developing integrations using REST/SOAP, messaging, Gx models, and plugins.
Proven experience implementing SBT for Commercial Lines (ISO/AAIS or other bureau templates).
Good understanding of Guidewire Cloud architecture (preferred).
Experience leading team members, conducting code reviews, and managing technical delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex configuration/integration issues.
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and testing frameworks.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
