Role: Guidewire Claims QA Automation
Location: Erie, PA
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in testing Guidewire Claim Center Configuration and Insurance Suite applications (Policy Center, Billing Center, Contact Manager) Integration implementations.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance, including both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.
- Experience in Claims creation, FNOLs, Reserves, Checks and other payment transactions
- Analyst Associate certification in Guidewire
- Experience in manual Testing in Guidewire Cloud Projects – Upgrade or Implementation
- Experience in Guidewire Automation Testing
- Experience in adapting Testing Standards and Best practices
- Experience in gap assessment of requirements and OOTB functionalities
- Strong technical skills in manual functional testing in a continuous delivery environment.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Solid knowledge of test management tools such as Jira, Rally or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence.
- Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.
- Mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Agile certifications are desirable.
- Strong technical skills in non-functional testing in a continuous delivery environment
- Functional Knowledge / hands on any of the other Guidewire XCenters namely Policy Center, Billing Center and Contact Manager
- Experience in Automation Testing using Java Selenium.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Client team and other client stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.
- Collaborate with developers, and offshore QA Team to understand the system gaps and execute client requirements
- Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.
- Execute test cases and scenarios, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
- Test and validate complex business rules and workflows.
- Provide an accurate level of efforts and estimates for manual testing tasks
- Able to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment
- Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Guidewire Policy system testing and P&C insurance.
