Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to all stages of analytics delivery- data preparation, analytics development: from problem identification, conceptualization, prioritization to solution development and delivery.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language that can be easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hands on with data analyses using tools such as SQL, Python, and Excel. Use hypothesis driven approach and apply statistical methodologies to validate your findings
- Prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Assists in hiring, provide ongoing training and development opportunities, and foster a collaborative team culture
- Support in solution design, filling out RFPs, analytics surveys, and mkt. research
- Contribute to strategic decisions and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Develop consensus and gain buy-in for strategic priorities
Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
- 8 years of experience in data science and/or business analysis, business process and/or business requirements documentation
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in an Engineering/Analytics/ Economics/ MBA or equivalent fields experience
- Solution Design and Consultative skills: Strong conceptual and creative problem-solving skills; Proven superior analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn the business aspects quickly, multitask and prioritize between projects.
- Ability to stitch data together, identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution.
- Experience with statistical concepts, basic AI algorithms, and insight generation
- Good written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills; engage in meaningful manner with variety of audience: business stakeholders, technology partners & practitioners, executive and senior management.
- P&C insurance industry knowledge about emerging AI trends, AI tools and technologies
Preferred:
- Familiarity of new age AI and ML techniques such as GenAI, foundational models, large language models (LLMs) and applications
- Prior experience in P&C Insurance Analytics
- Prior experience in Analytics consulting and services
