2nd Shift 12:00pm – 8:30pm: FULL-TIME  
  
$3,000 sign on bonus. $1,000 paid out at 30 days, $1,000 paid out at 90 days & $1,000 paid out at 180 days.
 

Valtir is hiring a 2^nd shift Custodian to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility. The role requires a highly motived, detailed and organized individual who is dedicated and takes pride in their work. 
 

Job Duties Include, but not limited to:

• Preform custodian duties in the main office building and restrooms including but limited to: dusting, mopping, disinfecting, removal of waste in and around facility.
• Property clean up focusing on 5S throughout the facility
• Complete assigned cleaning checklists
• Paint offices, equipment and department layout as needed. Create shadow boards. Paint department layouts. Label processes and equipment.
• Report status and problem areas to facilitate corrective actions when needed.
• Act as a groundman for areal support and confined space attendant. 
• Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues
• Organizes tools, fixtures, & equipment for optimized retrieval and flow
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Working Environment:

• Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy.
• The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
• Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant.  Dependable job attendance is expected.

Qualifications:

• Cleaning/Janitorial services minimum 2 years experience 
• Must be a highly motived individual, ability to take initiative and work independently 
• Positive “Can Do” attitude, able to weather setbacks and cultural resistance.
• Must be well organized and have the ability to implement new skills with a hands-on approach
