The College of Nursing and Health Professions (CONHP) at Valparaiso University invites applications for an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Nursing. This is a semester-by-semester appointment teaching one to two courses per semester.
Valparaiso University is a distinguished private university of 2,500 students located in Valparaiso, IN, one hour southeast of downtown Chicago. Candidates should be interested in working at a university engaged in issues in Christian higher education in the Lutheran tradition. The College of Nursing and Health Professions has programs in nursing (BSN and DNP), health care leadership (BSHL), health administration (MHCA), health science (BSHS), public health (BSPH and MPH), physician assistant studies (MSPA), and occupational therapy (DrOT, OTD).
This position is an adjunct appointment, beginning August 2026. The responsibilities of this position include teaching graduate courses in the DNP program. The successful candidate will hold an earned doctorate in nursing.
