Role Description — Vice President of Projects
This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Los Angeles, CA. The Manager, Financial Analysis will play a critical role in supporting VALORANT’s strategic and operational decision‑making through high‑quality financial insights. This leader will oversee financial modeling, forecasting, performance tracking, and investment analysis across the franchise’s product, esports, publishing, and live‑operations initiatives.
The Manager will partner closely with cross‑functional leaders to evaluate business performance, assess financial risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment between financial planning and VALORANT’s long‑term growth strategy. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- 12–18 years of progressive experience in project management, program management, operations, or related fields
- 7 years of leadership experience, including managing senior managers or directors
- Proven track record leading large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects in gaming, entertainment, technology, or similarly complex industries
- Expertise in project planning, scheduling, execution, and governance at an enterprise level
- Strong understanding of expediting, inspection, quality control, and logistics management for operationally intensive projects
- Demonstrated ability to build and optimize project management systems, workflows, and cross‑team collaboration models
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive‑level presentation skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams and influence across global, cross‑functional environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum are highly preferred
- Experience in gaming, esports, live events, or digital content ecosystems is a strong plus
