As a Retail Store/Warehouse Associate at the Valor Fitness Seminole Location, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service while also supporting warehouse and inventory operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers but is equally comfortable working behind the scenes to keep products organized, prepared, and moving efficiently.

You will assist customers in finding the right fitness equipment, process sales transactions, maintain an organized showroom, and help with receiving, stocking, assembling, and staging products within the warehouse. Your flexibility and team-oriented mindset will help ensure a seamless experience for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude, addressing their fitness equipment needs, training style, and preferences.
• Provide detailed information and recommendations about various fitness equipment within our product selection.
• Demonstrate the features and benefits of products, ensuring customers understand how to use equipment safely and effectively.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing retail showroom, including stocking shelves, arranging merchandise, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming inventory shipments.
• Pick, stage, assemble, and prepare products for customer pickup or delivery.
• Assist with warehouse organization, inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock locations.
• Safely move fitness equipment throughout the warehouse and showroom using proper lifting techniques and equipment when necessary.
• Help load customer vehicles and delivery trucks with purchased merchandise.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with retail and warehouse team members to achieve sales, operational, and customer service goals.
• Stay updated on the latest fitness equipment trends and product knowledge.
• Support other operational tasks as needed to help the team and business succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred, especially in the fitness or sporting goods industry.
• Strong interest in fitness and knowledge of fitness equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs. regularly, with team assistance or equipment for heavier items).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems.
• Team-player attitude with a willingness to assist across retail and warehouse operations as business needs require.
