Job Title: Credit Analyst
Reports to: Senior Credit Officer
Job Summary:
The Credit Analyst will ensure that the Bank’s underwriting processes and loan structuring decisions reflect a commitment to strong asset quality. The Credit Analyst provides support to the Senior Credit Officer with credit analysis, underwriting, structuring, and documentation.

Maintain a full understanding of the Bank’s Lending Policy, applicable lending related policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Review financial statements, projections, models and all other relevant financial and non-financial data to aid Loan Officers and Loan Committee in credit decisions.
Ensure compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations and prescribed policies, and procedures necessary to reduce risk.
Ensure risk rating accuracy and compliance with Loan Policy.
Assist the Senior Credit Officer with ongoing monitoring of loan portfolio performance and credit quality.
Additional Expectations:
Understand and communicate the Bank’s story, values, Giving Vision, and the role Valor Bank serves in the community.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree.
1 year or more of experience in financial/ credit analysis.
