Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Essential Functions

- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing safety or quality.
- Hand sanding with an electric or air-powered sander may be required on occasion.
- Packages finished goods for shipment and pulls finished goods for shipment.
- May operate a shrink wrap machine, pallet jack, and forklift on occasion.
- Ability to consistently handle and follow through with multiple assignments and meet deadlines; ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; ability to function effectively in a busy work environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, professional attitude, and reliability.
- Must possess strong communication skills, organization skills, ability to prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Persistent follow-up.
