The Operations Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining our high standard of service by supporting client relationships, managing operational tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functions of the office.Job SummaryThe Client Operations Specialists are go-to resources, providing direction, expertise, and training in policies and custodial platform best practices.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesEscalate, review, and respond to requests to process, review, or escalate urgent or complex itemsFoster relationships with clients through initial & ongoing customer service and issue resolutionServe as an internal training resource by delivering educational training on custodial technology, processes, form requirements, and communicating correct processing guidelinesMonitor and review custodians for policy, procedures, and paperwork changes, updating resources and training materialsPerform security administration, vendor code maintenance, and related functions for Schwab and PershingAssist team members with daily tasks as needed due to volumeProvide backup assistance to other team members as business needs dictatePerform other tasks assigned by managementCore CompetenciesKnowledge of financial industry and investment productsStrong knowledge of various technologies: Microsoft Office, Dynamics, LaserApp, DocuSign, Schwab Advisor Center, Pershing NetX360Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal effectively with various people including staff, management, custodians, and other officesAbility to prioritize and manage in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with organization and accuracyStrong analytical, problem-solving, research skills, and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a team environment, while also being a self-motivated, independent workerRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Finance or a related fieldPreferred Education and Experience3 years of financial industry experienceIndustry designations (CFP, CPA)FINRA registrationsCertified in operational process improvement (Lean 6 Sigma, Kaizen)BenefitsCompany contributions toward health insurance premiumCompany sponsored retirement plan with matching contributionsPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysPhysical DemandsThis is a largely sedentary role; however, some walking is required.
