Yard Operator / Material Handler

The Yard Operator supports pipe movement, inventory accuracy, and quality compliance within the threading department’s pipe yard.Your Day-to-Day ImpactCoordinate with Heavy Equipment Operators to ensure proper rack storage.Monitor pipe flow to ensure accurate placement of threaded and unthreaded stock.Check SLNs and associated documentation for correct pipe quantities and location.Responsible for filling out all paperwork assigned accurately.Assist in inventory audits and track material movement for production scheduling.Conduct visual inspections for correct stencil markings, thread protectors, and mill identifiers.Report damaged, mismarked, or missing protectors and coordinate timely remediation.Ensure compliance with handling standards to preserve pipe integrity.Keep racks, walkways, and staging zones clean and orderly.Follow PPE requirements and safety protocols.Communicate risks or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.Must be familiar with size, weight, grade, connection, and mill of all pipes being loaded or unloaded.Familiar with a pipe yard layout.Must be able to always conduct yourself in a professional manner when dealing with external and internal customers.Follow all company rules and policies.Follow all applicable instructions, specifications, and related requirements to meet the company's objectives.Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.What You BringWe’re looking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves:Strong verbal, written and analytical skills.Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.Ability to understand and execute written and verbal instructions.Must be able to pass applicable testing as required.Must be able to read, write and speak English.Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull 75 pounds.Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.What You'll GainGet paid for what you know - and earn more as you learn more.Opportunities to work on cutting-edge equipmentA culture that values your input and celebrates improvementReal growth potential in a stable, essential industryOvertime opportunitiesAnd Benefits that Include: Medical, Dental, and Vision CoverageCompany-Paid Life Insurance & Short/Long-Term DisabilityProfit Sharing: Up to 4@1(k): Company match 4.5% with no vesting periodPaid Parental Leave: For birthing and non-birthing parents, including adoptionsPaid Holidays: 10 days, plus 1 personal floating holidayPaid Vacation TimeDiscretionary Performance-Based Bonus ProgramTuition ReimbursementSafety isn’t negotiable, it’s who we are.
