What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coupling Shop - Manufacturing Lead position at Vallourec North America?
Summary of Duties:
- Ability to use SAP.
- Ability to create/analyze daily status/production reports.
- Ability to read and understand blue prints/log sheets.
- Coordinate and organize Toolbox meetings.
- Knowledge of the Quality Control Inspection, CNC Lathe machine and Swage Machines, stress relieving, and end finishing Operations.
- Ability to operate the In-Touch or other similar Production System.
- Understand work assignments, priorities and good communication.
- Understand MPS.
- Understanding of Production and Coupling Shop processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Quality Control functions.
- Provide corrective and preventative actions for technical issues.
- Troubleshooting experience.
- Provide appropriate feedback to supervisors.
- Ensure all team members are focused on the appropriate jobs/tasks according to priority and complexity to meet productivity standards.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external customers, support groups, and third parties.
- Other duties assigned by manager
Requirements
- SBD Level 2 or equivalent external experience
- Ability to read, write and speak well in English.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions well.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year experience as a CNC Operator, Quality Inspector or Production Operator Level 3 . or equivalent knowledge
- Some leadership or supervision experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift a minimum of fifty pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.
- Must be able to pass applicable testing as required.
