We’re looking for a dedicated Regional Assessment Center (RAC) Manager to lead our Behavioral Health team in La Junta, Colorado. This leadership role is responsible for supporting staff, patient safety, and high-quality behavioral health services within a 24/7 residential environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Regional Assessment Center, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide proper direct supervision and coordination of the RAC Team Members, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, chart monitoring, task assignment, training/education, performance management, recognition, discipline, and termination.
  •  Support RAC Team Leads through consistent communication and delegation of duties.
  • Conduct monthly team meetings and one-on-one check-ins with each staff member.
  • Participate in Behavioral Health leadership meetings and ensure compliance with Valley-Wide policies, procedures, and Behavioral Health Administration standards.
  • Promote Valley-Wide’s mission and uphold a professional image in all interactions.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Participate in interviews and support new hire training and job readiness.
  • Provide direct supervision and monitoring to each shift (day/swing/night) a minimum of twice per month on each shift.
  • Conduct required safety inspections and emergency drills with timely follow-up to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health field 
  • Ability to obtain a Certified Addiction Specialist credential
  • QMAP certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial and/or behavioral health experience
  • BLS certification (provided upon hire)
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license with ability and willingness to travel
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
