Valley Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our Environmental Services Department. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance and Environmental Services Department

• Ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are maintained in excellent working order

• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment

• Train and supervise maintenance staff to follow all safety protocols, including fire safety and infection control procedures

• Conduct regular facility rounds to identify and address maintenance and safety issues

• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or environmental services experience, preferably in a supervisory role

• Experience in healthcare or long-term care settings is a strong plus

• Familiarity with environmental control practices and basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

• Strong organizational and communication skills
