Valley Vista for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (LPN or RN) to support our Nursing Services Department. This leadership role is ideal for a compassionate, organized, and clinically strong nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department

• Participate in interviewing and screening residents for admission

• Review nursing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with care plans

• Conduct daily rounds to observe resident care and identify clinical or operational needs

• Communicate regularly with physicians and visit selected residents as needed

• Assist the MDS/Care Plan Coordinator with planning, scheduling, and revising MDS assessments, including implementation of RAPs and triggers

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

• Infection Control/Wound Certification strongly preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience as an ADON, DON, or in a similar supervisory role within long-term care

• Experience working with the geriatric population preferred
