What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Therapist Full Time Carbondale/Glenwood Springs position at Valley View?
Speech Therapist needed, Full-Time.
Working 4-8 hour days between Carbondale and Glenwood outpatient locations and rotating inpatient coverage.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
- Provides speech, swallowing and cognitive treatments to patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Colorado Speech Language Pathologist license
- Willingness to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competency within first 2 years of employment
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability in speech, swallowing and cognitive treatment skills.
- Demonstrated ability in interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills.
- BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Experience:
- 1-year Speech Language Pathology experience with both Pediatrics and Adult is preferred.
