The Student Nurse Extern functions as a collaborative member of the health care team in partnership with and under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Will plan to interview candidates in April/May 2026 to start in June 2026.
This position will be open for a minimum of three days and until a top applicant is identified.

The Student Nurse Extern functions as a collaborative member of the health care team in partnership with and under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Will plan to interview candidates in April/May 2026 to start in June 2026.
- Must be entering final year of Accredited RN Nursing Program.
- Agree to work minimum of 24-hours/month.
- May work partial or full shifts to fit schedule.
- Set own schedules but may be asked to work PRN as needed.
- Will receive Orientation on multiple units.
- Student Extern position will end upon graduation from Nursing Program.
- Current copy of unofficial college transcript
- A cover letter discussing your motivation to become a nurse, greatest strengths and greatest weaknesses.
- BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
- Entering or in final year of accredited RN Nursing Program.
- $17.00/hour 14% PRN Differential Pay.
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
- $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
- $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
