As the Pharmacy Tech you procure and distribute medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols.

Description
We have an opening for a Full-time Pharmacy Technician-Inpatient.
As the Pharmacy Tech you procure and distribute medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols.
SCHEDULE
- Full-time - 40 hours/week.
- Mix of days/evenings and occasional weekends. No overnights or call, currently.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Tech Certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA) is preferred.
- Will consider candidates with provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA).
- 2-3 years pharmacy technician, inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency requests.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
- Ability to set priorities and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing).

- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
- $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
