What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Aide Full Time position at Valley View Hospital Association?
Exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Lab Aide to work in Valley View Hospital's Laboratory!
This is a day shift position with one weekend shift per month! Work hours are 6am-2:30pm.
As a Lab Aide you will receive and collect lab specimens, perform phlebotomy and capillary sticks according to laboratory procedure, and register patients and enter orders amongst other responsibilities!
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
- One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Basic computer and filing skills.
- Ability to order tests accurately.
SALARY RANGE:
- $20.41 to $30.02/hour
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
